In celebration of fifteen incredible years of supporting and presenting local arts exhibits, performances, lectures, films and workshops the iconic non-profit community arts center The ARTS at Marks Garage presents RAISE THE ROOF fundraiser on Saturday, November 19th.

A magical evening, overlooking Honolulu’s Chinatown from The ARTS at Marks Garage rooftop, guests will be provided with a variety of joyful and thought provoking entertainment including:

  • “State of the Arts” exploration with local artists Carl F.K. Pao & Solomon Enos
  • Live performances Taimane and Good Foot
  • Delicious beverages from Kona Brewing Company and Andis Wine
  • Top Chinatown eateries such as Grondin Latin-French Kitchen, JJ Dolans, and the new Bethel Union and Palate
  • Interactive experiences by Pacific Roller Derby
  • Dance by Spatial Sculptors
  • Stage combat by Hawaii Shakespeare Festival
  • Spoken word performances by Pacific Tongues/Youth Speaks Hawai‘i
  • Improv comedy from the On the Spot
  • Live painting by Culture Shaka
  • An art emporium featuring local artwork

As a primary sponsor of the creative revitalization of the downtown-Chinatown area through neighborhood relations, street festivals, neighborhood maps, First Friday Honolulu and other community celebrations, The ARTS at Marks Garage relies upon community support to continue its invaluable work. Therefore, the public is invited to join us in celebrating and raising funds for one of Hawaii’s finest arts incubators, The ARTS at Marks Garage, a venue that hosts more than a dozen performance and visual arts groups and offers over 300 creative workshops, performances, and private  events for the neighborhood youth & community.
