The Honolulu Waldorf High School Art Exhibition— Painting, Sculpture and Metal Work
February 17-27, 2016
The Honolulu Waldorf High School strives not only for high academic standards, strong civic involvement, and healthy social skills, but also the cultivation of rich imagination and creativity. Art is not an elective at HWS; every student paints, draws, sculpts, crafts, acts, recites, sings, and plays music. This enables students to develop self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-awareness as they enhance their emotional intelligence and cognitive feeling. The exhibition shows a small but broad selection of visual arts from the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
