Since 2007, the UK-based Insight Film Festival has celebrated filmmakers throughout the world who make films that challenge, explore, critique, reflect, celebrate or question faith. Insight has welcomed auteurs from all faiths as well as those who profess to none. Join us for this special screening of interesting, innovative and provocative films from the festival. Abdul-Rehman Malik will lead a discussion about the ways in which faith continue to shape cinematic visions. ABDUL-REHMAN MALIK is an award winning journalist, program designer and cultural organizer working at the intersection of faith, culture and social justice. He will be in-residence at Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design from June 19-28, 2018. This program is part of the “What is Muslim Culture?” series developed by Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design and Abdul-Rehman Malik.
