As part of the JuneFEAST Exhibition taking place June 1st - 15th at the Arts at Marks Garage Gallery, HawaiiFEAST brings you an afternoon filled with inspiring talk story focused on the idea of public art activation being a relevant and intrinsic element for healing in our human services sector. Boz Shurr, the featured JuneFEAST Exhibition, The Finches Will Flourish artist will be joining Child & Family Services providers and two other community leaders to share the valuable and impactful collaborative work being done in community using the gifts of creative artists through public art forms as a powerful tool for resiliency in youth-focused social services. The community talk story will by facilitated by Lala Nuss, Founder of Conscious Concepts & Public Program Events Manager at the ARTS at Marks Garage. Pupus and refreshments will also be provided! 230p - Doors open 300p - Featured guest speakers talk story 400p - Q&A - Break out session 500p - Pau All ages welcomed $5 donation for adults, students & Kupuna FREE PARKING: $1.50/hr. street parking, $4 flat rate at Chinatown Municipal Garages.
