Friends of Chinatown, the ARTS, and the greater community are invited to a pau hana community round table on Friday 9/27, 5:30-7:30 PM at the ARTS at Marks Garage (1159 Nuuanu Avenue, Honolulu).
The round table marks the closing event for the September gallery exhibit, "Chinatown without the ARTS", and will bring together the many stakeholders who are invested in the future of Chinatown and the arts for a forward-looking conversation about how to revitalize the ARTS at Marks Garage and deepen its relationships in the community. The event will include a panel discussion featuring prominent stakeholders from the Chinatown and arts communities, followed by a talk story discussion. A survey and interactive stations throughout the gallery will capture ideas and input from everyone who attends. If you live Honolulu and love the arts, we need your mana'o! The event is free and open to the public, and there will be a cash bar and light pau hana refreshments. Please RSVP your attendance here.
