First Friday:
First Fridays are a wonderful achievement. The streets fill with people and the galleries are a nonstop parade of an amazing cross section of our community.
Day: EVERY First Friday of the month
Time: 4:00-7:00 pm or 7:00-10:00pm
Skills/Ability: Must be able to stand throughout shift, not adverse to crowdsAttire:casual comfortable clothing
Positions: Gallery attendants to keep an eye on the art, food and beverage meisters, clicker (we count every body that comes through our door), reception desk (assist purchasers, provide information to visitors, process sales).

Be the smiling face that greets our customers; on the phone become an expert on parking options and driving routes; enjoy the current gallery exhibition and if you’re lucky make a sale! Meet all kinds of interesting people.
Day: usually Saturdays
Time: 11:00am-2:30pm or 2:30-6pm
Attire: Casual, neat
Skills/Ability: Ability to either do many things at once or amuse yourself during the down times; not afraid of telephones or people.

We work with all sorts of artists and all sorts of artwork. This is an opportunity to learn more about our local working artists and their work.
Day: usually Sunday and Monday
Time: 10:00am – 6:00pm.; 2-hour shift requested
Attire: Casual, comfortable; covered shoes recommended
Skills/Ability: use tools, painting, climb ladder, lifting, hammering, etc.

Special Projects or Events:
There’s usually something! A gallery opening reception, a Nu‘uanu Street festival, a holiday party, facility upkeep projects (painting, repairing, etc.), art teacher assistant, organize our image collection, etc.
